Our CMU friends at Touchstone Cinema are bringing Peggy Ahwesh to Pittsburgh for two events as part of Rust Belt Renegades!
On Friday, April 28th, Ahwesh will screen and lecture on some of her more recent video work at STUDIO for Creative Inquiry.
Then, on Saturday, April 29th, Pittsburgh Filmmakers returns for one night only! Pittsburgh Sound + Image will co-present an evening of shorts made by women associated w/PFMI in the 70s/80s. A panel discussion will include Ahwesh & others.
Saturday’s event will take place at the former PFMI theater, the Melwood Screening Room!
