From mattress.org:
Two public film screening series curated by Benny Shaffer and co-hosted by Pittsburgh Sound + Image will be presented as part of Summer School: State of the Sky, an interdisciplinary, arts-centered education program organized by artists Luke Stettner and Calista Lyon within the State of the Skyexhibition this summer.
Taking the exhibition’s inquiry into atmospheres and ways of seeing the sky as a point of departure, the screening programs will feature experimental and documentary films projected on 16mm film and video. Each program will be followed by a discussion exploring how visual and sonic strategies engage with various social and environmental experiences of labor and industry, while also intervening in archives and historical narratives.
